IDF resumes searches for unexploded munitions in northern Israel

IDF resumes searches for unexploded munitions in northern Israel.: The IDF has ordered renewed searches across northern Israel following Monday's explosion on Ramim Ridge, which killed 13-year-old Elazar Vilensky a”h and injured 24 others.

The munition is believed to have been a submunition from a Hezbollah cluster rocket. Bomb disposal units are still investigating its origin and examining a suspected rocket fragment found at the scene.

Forces will recheck areas previously searched after the fighting, using wartime data mapping rocket, missile, and UAV impact zones. The operation is expected to last days or possibly weeks, depending on what is found.
