Witness is “100% certain” she saw between eight and ten masked men

Fairford Witness Raises New Questions:

The farmer whose 999 call led to five arrests near RAF Fairford says she is “100% certain” she saw between eight and ten masked men, raising questions over whether others escaped.

Despite being the key eyewitness, she says police have still not contacted her to take a full account of what she saw.

She also revealed the warning she sent to the village WhatsApp group, alerting neighbours to men in balaclavas and telling them to lock their doors.

Her suspicions were first raised by “strange signage” on one of the three vans and a phone number that did not work.

Defence Secretary Wes Streeting thanked the farmer but said she had only “a partial picture”.
