Passengers From Israel Allegedly Singled Out At Luton Airport:

Border Force officers at Luton Airport have been accused of racial profiling after passengers arriving from Tel Aviv last sunday were asked where they had flown from, with those answering Israel allegedly directed into a separate queue for luggage searches.

One passenger said arrivals from Lisbon and Warsaw were allowed through, while another said she felt they had been “picked on for being Jewish".

"They didn't even seem to really be searching our suitcases; they unzipped them, opened them, shut them and let us go."

The search came just a few hours after passengers from Israel were stopped and searched in the Netherlands after the country prohibited the import of goods originating from Judea and Samaria.

The Home Office denied antisemitism or profiling, saying searches are based on intelligence, evidence and operational requirements - never ethnicity, religion or any other protected characteristic.

Luton Airport has history of incidents involving flights from Israel and Jewish passengers.
