Kinneret water levels fall to lowest point in over a century:
Consecutive years of below-average rainfall in northern Israel have pushed available water reserves in the Kinneret to their lowest level in more than a century of modern records, the Israel Water Authority said.

Heavy rain and flash floods have caused localized overflows in southern desert streams, including Nachal Tze'elim, but northern watersheds remain severely depleted.
Water Authority Director-General Yehezkel Lifshitz warned that national rainfall averages conceal sharp regional differences, stressing the need for flexible water management and long-term infrastructure planning.
