FBI thwarts ISIS-inspired massacre at Mall of America suspect arrested

FBI thwarts ISIS-inspired massacre at Mall of America suspect arrested yesterday:
An 18-year-old man was arrested yesterday after the FBI says it stopped an ISIS-inspired plan to carry out a mass shooting at the Mall of America in Minnesota on October 24.
Sheikhdoon Abdullahi Mohamud told an FBI informant he wanted to attack non-Muslims and was preparing for a mass killing at the mall.
Yesterday, he met undercover FBI agents he believed were connected to ISIS and paid $600 for an AK-47-style rifle, magazines and around 200 rounds of ammunition.
The weapon had already been disabled by the FBI.
As soon as Mohamud took possession of the gun and ammunition, agents moved in and arrested him, stopping the planned attack before anyone was hurt.
