Neriya’s older brother, Moshe, was killed in battle in Gaza in November 2023. Moshe was a reservist and served as a paramedic. He was also a father of six young children. Despite his brother’s death, Neriya opted to return to reserve duty and fought against Hezbollah in Lebanon.
