20 to leave as Britain's Consulate Is downgraded:
Israel has removed the consular status of Britain's East Jerusalem consulate in retaliation for UK sanctions targeting Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria.

Following talks, the building will remain open as the 'UK Mission', Jerusalem.
20 of its 27 staff will leave Israel, with seven remaining to maintain a reduced British presence.
Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband says Britain will not expel Israeli diplomats while credible talks continue, but remains committed to its sanctions policy.
Earlier this morning, the consulate removed a plaque reading "British Consulate General".
